 EMV Motors Cannes Hybrid Scooter EMV Motor’s Cannes Hybrid Scooter helps make EV range anxiety a thing of the past as it can operate as a pure EV using battery power and/or when needed can be powered by a 50 cc 4-stroke gasoline engine depending upon performance requirements and driving style. Typically the Cannes Hybrid Scooter is powered by the 48v 500w brushless electric motor at speeds under 15km/h, above that speed the gasoline engine will take over automatically. While operating in the environmentally friendly pure electric mode EMV Motor’s Cannes Hybrid Scooter can significantly reduce noise and CO2 emissions especially in slow stop and go urban driving conditions. In addition compared to any pure fossil fuel burning competitors hybrid owners typically enjoy significant savings on gasoline and maintenance expenses. The Cannes Hybrid Scooter has an operator selected top speed of 30 or 45 km/h (19/30 mph) for use in the EU, but if used outside of the EU it can reach speeds up to 65 km/h (40 mph).
