EMV 310 GL

EMV Motor’s 310 GL is a fully electric EV four-seater commuter car.

The 310 GL commuter car has four doors, front wheel drive and is powered by a 8.5 kw, 120V AC motor.  It can use either Gel or Lithium ion batteries to get it up to a top speed of either 100/110 km/hr (62/68 mph) and a single charge range of 160/200 km (99/124 miles) respectively.

Standard equipment on the EMV 310 GL includes:

• Fog light (front and rear)

• Electric side mirrors

Even though EMV Motors is a European company like many of the new automotive companies such as ZAP Motors of Santa Rosa, California they utilize Chinese production facilities to manufacture the EMV 310 GL.  EMV Motors does this not only due to lower labor costs, which helps them keep retail prices down, but to also be closer to the world’s largest car and Electric Vehicle (EV) market, which since 2009 is China (not the USA).
