EMV Motor’s 510 Family is a fully electric EV five-seater family car.
The 510 Family car has for four doors, front wheel drive and is powered by a 20 kw, 144V AC motor. It uses a 45 piece Lithium PO4 batteries to get it up to a top speed of either 125 km/hr (77 mph) and a single charge range of 200+ km (124+ miles).
Standard equipment on the EMV 510 Family includes:
• Airbags (two) • ABS • Power steering • A/C (Air conditioning) • Heater • Remote door lock • Fog light (front and rear) • Electric windows • Electric side mirrors • Blinkers in side mirrors • Radio/CD-player/Mp3 • 12V outtake • Aluminium alloy wheels • BMS Battery controller display in the dashboard • Regenerating brake system
Even though EMV Motors is a European company like many of the new automotive companies such as ZAP Motors of Santa Rosa, California they utilize Chinese production facilities to manufacture the EMV 510 Family. EMV Motors does this not only due to lower labor costs, which helps them keep retail prices down, but to also be closer to the world’s largest car and Electric Vehicle (EV) market, which since 2009 is China (not the USA).
